I’ve always liked seeing and understanding how things worked from behind the scenes and even giving a little hand to help is something that exited me a lot and is one of my primary motivations as to why i like this career path so much.

That is why the core team of WordPress caught my attention as is the area that aligns better with my experience and personal motivations. But due to time constraints and me just trying to get my engineering degree i found that a way that i can still provide value to WordPress is with patch testing, comparing diffs, sniffing for side effects and looking for potential bugs introduced by code changes is something i’m good at! It will help me get more used to see other people code and style of coding to understand fundamentals of WordPress codebase better and i’m hoping that at the end of this project i can become a better engineer and a better team mate and code reviewer for my future coworkers.
